Arriving by car:
If you are travelling from the Jerez intersection (A-382) *exit at Arcos Oeste (Arcos west). Once you enter Arcos (you will turn into town down a hill just after a Cepsa petrol station) continue straight ahead across a roundabout and down the hill (do not turn left at the sign Centro Ciudad). After passing under a pedestrian walkway, across a roundabout and over a bridge, you will come to a T-junction where you should turn left up the hill towards a mini roundabout. Turn left again and park. from here you will see the Matrera Arch. Casa Blues is 200 meters above the arch following the right cliffside lane, second house on the right.
The other way of reaching Casa Blues is to drive through the old town (this involves negotiating narrow streets which not all drivers may be comfortable with). This route will bring you directly outside Casa Blues, where you can unload luggage and park 100 meters lower down the hill.
If you are travelling from the direction of Ubrique and El Bosque (A-372), you will pass a Repsol petrol station on your right and further down the hill the lake of Arcos, also on your right. At the roundabout turn to your left (direction marked Arcos Unbanizacion), cross the bridge and follow the road up to the top of the hill where it veers to the right. Directly in front you will see the Matrera arch where you can park and walk the remaining 200 meters keeping to the right, cliffside lane. Casa Blues is the second house on the right.
If you are travelling from the direction of Ronda or Olvera/Villamartin (A384), take the Arcos Este (east) exit. Keep following the
Arcos Este signs over the next two roundabouts and at the third roundabout follow the sign marked El Bosque (A372). Keep on this road
down the hill with the lake visible on your left hand side, passing the Venta Antonio sign on your right. The road curves to the left over a bridge and at the next roundabout take the right turn marked Arcos Urbanisation. This road will take you over another bridge, up a steep hill where the road veers to the right and levels off. Directly ahead, and further up the next hill you will see the Matrera Arch. Casa Blues is 200 meters above on the cliffside road, right hand fork, second door on the right hand side.
